One of the greatest bowler, that Nepal have ever got, Shakti Gauchhan retired from all sorts of Cricket today at TU Cricket Ground.
He finished off his player career in his last match in Everest Premier League, representing Pokhara Rhinos. Pokhara Rhinos lost the match to Chitwan Tigers by 7 wickets.
At the end of the match, Gauchhan looked very emotional and couldn’t hold his tears and he broke down. His pain of the retirement was clearly seen from that scene.
He has been a very important part of Nepali Cricket that played T-20 Cricket World Cup in 2014 and got T20I as well as ODI Status. Similarly, he is determined to contribute from outside the field to make Nepal a Test Nation in 10 years.
