Barcelona defeated Tottenham Spurs 2-4 in a Champions League match played at Wembly Stadium. Lionel Messi scored twice for the visiting side.

The visitors had taken the lead in the second minute of the match a Philipe Coutinho smashed a volley in the far corner. Similarly, Ivan Rakitic produced another finish of the match as he powered the volley in the right pole before netting it.

The first half ended with the scoreline of 0-2. In the second half, Harry Kane narrowed the lead in the 52nd minute. However, the narrowed lead was short lived as Messi scored in the 56th minute. Again, Spurs looked to get back to the game as Lamela scored in the 66th minute to made it 2-3.

It was again Messi in the last minute to wrap up the game for them with 2-4 victory.
