Majority of new faces has been included in the national team for a friendly match against Kuwait next week. Nepal is playing against Kuwait in an International friendly on 21st of March.
The newly appointed national team head coach Johan Kalin has directly shortlisted the 23-men squad for the friendly match and has been keeping the players under training since last week. Majority of the main players from National team under close camp for AFC U23 Championship and will not be available for the friendly.
Senior team players like Bimal G Magar, Anjan Bista, Ananta Tamang, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Kamal Shrestha, Suman Aryal, Hemanta Thapamagar, Sunil Bal, Tej Tamang won’t be available for the International friendly. Therefore, new players are getting chance this time. Almost half of the team members will be of new faces.
New players like Aashish Lama, Ajit Bhandari, Suraj BK, Rabi Silwal, Saroj Dahal, Santosh Tamang, Ravi Paswan, Bimal Rana are given chance and few of them will make an International debut. Similarly, Bikram Lama, Ranjit Dhimal and Ranjan Bista are back in the squad after recovering from their respective injuries.
