Brilliant Sagar Pun smashed yet another century in Malaysian Premier League. Kuala Lumpur defeated Selangor by 122 runs in the first semi final of the Malaysian Premier League in Malaysia. In the match played at Kinrara Oval Cricket ground, Sagar Pun smashed back to back century for Kuala Lumpur. Similarly, another Nepali batsman Asif Sheikh also scored 20 runs from just 11 balls. Sagar Pun had scored 109 runs from 129 balls and also took two wickets in the bowling in his previous match.
After winning the toss, Kuala Lumpur elected to bat first. Thereafter, Kuala Lumpur made 305/4 in the board with two players getting the half century and Sagar Pun hit a century. Sagar Pun made exactly 100 runs 118 balls. He smashed 9 fours but didn’t get any maximum. Similarly, Aasif Sheikh also made 20 runs from 11 balls. He hit 3 boundaries. In bowling, Sagar Pun bowled 4 overs giving away just 10 runs. However, he didn’t grab any wickets.
With the win, Kuala Lumpur advanced to the final of 7th Malaysian Premier League.
