Nepal’s middle order batsman Sarad Veswakar is set to miss Nepal’s second ODI against Netherlands as he injured his finger in first ODI against the same opponent. He injured his finger while fielding during the first inning in first ODI. He was then replaced by Rohit Kumar Poudel in the fielding for more than 30 overs of the first inning. He was also forced to came to batting at number 11 as a player from starting XI can’t be replaced for bowling and batting.
In the second ODI, young sensation Rohit Kumar Poudel will play in place of Sarad Veswakar. The youngest member of Nepali team, Poudel is best suited to hold the middle order of Nepali batting line up.
Nepal is playing their second ODI today (3rd August) after losing the first ODI by 55 runs.
