Nepal U-19 team off to India for World Cup Qualifiers warm-up matches

Nepal U-19 Cricket team left for India to fine their tune for the upcoming qualifiers for U-19 World Cup 2020. According to the technical analyst of Nepal Cricket team Raman Shiwakoti, Nepal will play total of four practice matches there against Andra State Cricket Team.

The qualifiers for the U19 World Cup will begin from April 12 to 18 in Malaysia and the final squad for the qualifiers will be selected as per the player’s performance in those four matches played in India visit. Alone with Nepal, there will be five more teams in the qualifiers. Singapore, Kuwait, UAE, Oman along with host Malaysia will be competing for the spot in the U-19 World Cup.

Rohit Poudel lead the U19 Team !

The world record holder, Rohit Kumar Poudel will be leading the U19 team for the first time as he was announced the skipper of U19 Cricket team. He’s been one of the important player in the national team as well, contributing a lot in very short time.
