After a convincing victory over minnow Myanmar, Nepali cricket team will be looking for a real test against Malaysia. Nepal will take on Malaysia in its second game of 2018 ICC World T20 Asian Eastern Sub Regional Qualifier on October 6.
In the qualifiers campaign, 7 different countries will be vying for top three finish. The top three teams will qualify for 2019 ICC World T20 Asian Regional Finals where other three teams are already waiting.

In the first game, Nepal rested their few players including Sarad Veswakar, Sompal Kami and Basanta Regmi. However, they will be included in the playing eleven in the match against Malaysia.
Nepal will have to complete three hurdles in order to play their second ever World Cup. The first one seems very easy which is happening now. Nepal is at very high level in comparison to other teams in Sub Regional Qualifier. In the second hurdle, that is in Regional Finals, Nepal will join UAE, Qatar and Kuwait and two teams from current group.
