International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the fixtures of 2018 Asia Cup Cricket. The tournament will run from September 15 to 28th of the same month in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Total of 6 teams will be competing in the tournament where 5 teams are already confirmed. The qualified teams are the top 5 test nations. They are India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The remaining one teams will be selected from Asia Cup Qualifiers. The teams for the qualifiers campaign are Nepal, Hong Kong, UAE, Singapore, Oman and Malaysia.
Group A: India, Pakistan, Qualifier Winner.
Group B: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan.
Chance to play with India and Pakistan for Nepal !
According to the fixtures release by ICC, the winner of the Asia Cup Qualifiers will be in Group A which comprises of India and Pakistan. The qualifiers will be hosted by India in September. Therefore, if Nepal want to play with India and Pakistan, then Nepal must win this qualifiers. If Nepal win the Qualifiers, Nepal will play against both India and Pakistan.
