Nepal has been drawn in Group A of this year’s Bangabandhu Gold Cup to be held in Bangladesh next month.
Nepal is defending champion of the tournament with Nepal clinching the title in its first participation. Nepal had defeated Bahrain 3-0 in the final to lift the title.
This time, Nepal is drawn in tough group with opponents Palestine and Tajikistan. The draw was conducted today by Bangladesh Football Federation.
The Gold Cup is scheduled to kick off from October 1. In the group B, it includes Bangladesh, Philipines and Laos.
