Sandeep to travel Malaysia directly from West Indies

Nepali young sensation Sandeep Lamichhane will join the National team directly in Malaysia to take part in Asia Cup Qualifiers. Sandeep is currently in West Indies playing Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Sandeep is playing from St. Kits and Nevis in CPL where he has already made mark with brilliant performance. He had already taken 5 wickets from his three matches.

Sandeep will join the squad on 28th of August. He will miss all the warm in matches in Sri Lanka.

Nepali cricket team left for Sri Lanka for training camp. Nepali team is set to play three warm up matches there in Sri Lanka with local teams. The Asia Cup Qualifiers will begin from 27th of August in Kuala Lumper. A total of 6 teams are participating in the qualification campaign with the winner qualifying in the Asia Cup 2018.

The participating teams are Malaysia, Hong Kong, Oman, Singapore, UAE and Nepal. The winner will join India and Pakistan in Group A of Asia Cup.

Nepal will play their first match against Oman in 29th of August.
