ANFA received Bangabandhu Gold Cup prize money from BFF

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) confirmed that they had received the remaining prize money of last edition Bangabandhu Gold Cup.

Nepal had won the Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2016 but had only received the half of the prize only. ANFA received the remaining USD 25,000 from Bangladesh Football Federation.

Therefore, now the dilemma of Nepal’s participation in this year’s edition is sorted out. Nepal will play this year’s edition as well.

BFF has already unveiled the trophy of Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018. Similarly, the fixtures are also already published.

The tournament will begin from October 1. Nepal will take on Tajikistan in October 2.

Nepal are grouped in poll A alongside Tajikistan and Palestine.
